The A+F team tasked us with creating a new website to complement their recently created branding in order to drive online recruitment in a very competitive market. There were a number of key user tasks outlined by the A+F team that needed consideration, CV registrations, easy to use job search, introduction of A+F as a company and distilling the large amount of information throughout the website. The overall objective of the website is to advertise open roles and to drive registrations.
Following the client briefing, our UX team proceeded to breakdown the new website into possibly user paths, while also distilling the large amount of information down into a clear messaging hierarchy. Following the creation of a skeleton for the new website the UI design team then took over to create a bespoke look and feel for the new website.
A key requirement of this design and build was to ensure that the site could be handed over and managed by the client content team. In order to cater for this we needed to do the following.
— Design & build in a modular fashion
— Ensure the backend CMS that was built was intuitive and clear
— The final product delivered was flexible enough for content editors, while also incorporating dynamic elements where possible
— Custom engineering solutions were implemented to meet the clients requirements
We handed over a contemporary website design that satisfied the client brief and functional requirements.
